Recently, Shianne performed a now-released, piece by oboist Alyssa Morris titled “Chameleon Lament” which is part of a larger song cycle Morris wrote during the pandemic. The performer's duty in this piece is to be both the oboist and the pianist. As if to represent the weight of solidarity one may have experienced during the height of the pandemic. Shianne performed this challenging piece as it required a high level of training in piano, oboe, and aural skills.
